                                Pathway to CELPIP

                                July 20th- August 21st, 2026 | online self-paced course + weekly Zoom session | You will learn strategies for success and practice to complete the test. Instructors will help you to understand your strengths and weaknesses. You will get help deciding the best steps for preparing and getting the score you need.

                                SSELT: Childcare

                                Sep 7- Dec 4, 2026, | Mon - Fri | 9 AM - 3:30 PM |  Get the language skills for working in the childcare and afterschool programs. The students will become familiar with regulations, child protection standards, forms, early childhood development and learning, and they will develop the language and communication skills needed to handle a variety of scenarios they may encounter at childcare centers in Canada.

                                Pathway to Driver's Education

                                 July 2026 | You will practice the language and vocabulary needed to read the NB Driver’s Handbook. This training will help you prepare for the exam to get your beginner’s license (class 7). You will be able to make your own appointment to take the written test.

                                November 25th, 2026, 10am at the Regional YMCA | This practical session will guide you through key tips and best practices for writing a Canadian resume, including what to include and what to avoid.                                 SSELT: Personal Support Worker

                                Sep 7 - Dec 4 , 2026, | This program will provide you the language skills for working in the health sector, especially for in demand jobs such as Personal Support Workers. The students will learn about the Canadian healthcare system, general information about body structure, function, nutrition, communicating with patients, and health and safety. The students will volunteer at different locations within the healthcare sector.

                                August 31st 2026, 3pm at Regional YMCA | Participants will learn how to write and reply to emails professionally, use appropriate workplace language and formatting, and build confidence using essential computer functions for daily work tasks and online communication.

                                October 26th, 2026, 3pm at the Regional YMCA | This workshop is designed to help newcomers feel more confident and comfortable when preparing for job interviews in Canada. It offers a supportive space to better understand what to expect in the Canadian hiring process and how to approach interviews with clarity and confidence.

                                SSELT: Interpretation

                                Nov 3rd- Dec 19, 2026 | Get the English language and cultural skills needed to interpret successfully with professionalism in a variety of community settings (social services, legal aid, police, clinics, educational settings and government programs). The students will learn how to communicate effectively in their new workplace while demonstrating appropriate soft skills and Canadian cultural awareness.
